Use the built-in Quality Assurance to reduce errors and facilitate team collaboration.Gain feedback early on to maximize LEED Energy Credits.More accurately model ASHRAE 90.1 & 62.1 baseline systems using templates.Manage and edit data for all 5 models from one central file reducing input duplication and error.Automated link to AIA 2030 Challenge via Design Data Exchange (DDX) website.Automatically generates output reports for LEED PRM and ECB.Automatically performs Unmet Load Hours check.Automatically undertake simulations across all 5 buildings using Parallel Simulation Manager.Compare proposed and baseline buildings data input side-by-side prior to calculation.Automatically includes daylight simulation in proposed model and baseline models.Import room and thermal zone template data.

ASHRAE 90.1 2016 APPENDIX G CODE
She has developed and delivered trainings on energy modeling and performance-based code compliance that have been attended by over a thousand building industry professionals. She has authored papers and presented at the ASHRAE, IBPSA, and AIA conferences among others, and is a member of the ASHRAE Standard 90.1 committee. She has completed numerous energy modeling projects for new and existing buildings and has led the development of technical polices for major modeling-based incentive programs as well as national programs such as the EPA Energy Star Multifamily High Rise Program.
ASHRAE 90.1 2016 APPENDIX G SOFTWARE
Maria has 20 years of experience in building science, energy modeling, and software design. Instructor: Maria Karpman LEED AP, BEMP, CEM The training targets professionals with architectural and engineering backgrounds who would like to obtain a working knowledge of the 90.1 Appendix G modeling protocol in order to perform energy modeling, review modeling-based submittals, or work with modelers more effectively on a team.
ASHRAE 90.1 2016 APPENDIX G FULL
This full day training will allow participants to develop an in-depth understanding of the general concepts and technical requirements of the ASHRAE Standard 90.1 2016 Appendix G modeling protocol, and will highlight the differences introduced in the 2019 edition of the Standard. The 90.1 2016 Appendix G modeling protocol is also integral to many above-code programs such as the EPA ENERGY STAR Multifamily High-rise program and the LEED NC v4 Alternative Performance Rating Method pilot credit. The Seattle code will reference ASHRAE Standard 90.1 2019 and will use carbon emissions as the metric for demonstrating compliance instead of energy cost. Washington state is switching to the ASHRAE Standard 90.1 2016 Appendix G modeling protocol this summer, and the current modeling method based on IECC Chapter C407 will no longer be acceptable.
